As a Vedic Consultant and Qualified Jyotisha Pandita, my role is to help you explore these moments through the timeless wisdom of authentic Vedic astrology (Jyotisha). Every consultation is designed to provide thoughtful guidance that supports informed decision-making while respecting your free will and unique life journey.
My Journey
My interest in astrology began when I was twelve years old. Even at a young age, I was fascinated by the relationship between the heavens and human experience. That curiosity remained with me throughout my life and gradually developed into a deeper exploration of philosophy, spirituality and personal growth.
Alongside this lifelong interest, my background includes more than twenty years in yoga and holistic wellbeing, where I had the privilege of supporting people through periods of physical, emotional and personal transformation. These years reinforced my belief that genuine wellbeing is not simply about overcoming challenges, but about understanding ourselves more deeply and responding to life with greater awareness.
In 2018, I felt a clear calling to study Vedic astrology (Jyotisha). My studies followed the Sri Achyutananda Das Tradition, where I undertook several years of disciplined learning before qualifying as a Jyotisha Pandita in September 2025. I was drawn to Jyotish for its depth, its philosophical foundations and its use of the sidereal zodiac, which reflects the astronomical positions of the stars. More importantly, I recognised that Jyotisha offers far more than a method of prediction — it provides a profound framework for understanding life's timing, recognising recurring patterns and integrating spiritual wisdom into everyday decision-making.
Today, I bring together my lifelong interest in astrology, formal Jyotisha training, extensive experience in yoga and holistic wellbeing, and professional experience within business and the UK property sector. Together, these experiences enable me to offer guidance that is both spiritually grounded and practically relevant.
Why Vedic Astrology?
Jyotisha drew me in first through its philosophical depth. It is not simply a system of prediction — it is a complete framework for understanding the human being within the cosmos, rooted in the same Vedic tradition that gave us yoga, Ayurveda and Vedanta. That philosophical coherence gives the work a quality of meaning I have not found elsewhere.
What distinguishes Jyotisha from Western astrology is its use of the sidereal zodiac — the actual, observable positions of the stars in the sky. This astronomical alignment gives the system a precision and integrity that I find both intellectually satisfying and practically significant. Your chart reflects where the planets truly were at the moment of your birth.
Jyotisha is also, uniquely, a science of timing. Through the dasha system — a sequence of planetary periods unfolding across a lifetime — it offers a remarkably accurate map of when particular themes, opportunities and challenges are likely to arise. This capacity for timing is, in my experience, one of its most valuable gifts.
Perhaps most importantly, Jyotisha does not separate the spiritual from the practical. It understands that the decisions we make in everyday life — in relationships, work, timing and direction — are inseparable from our deeper nature and our soul's journey. It is this integration that makes it, for me, the most complete and humane of the astrological traditions.
My Approach
Understanding Over Prediction
I believe authentic Vedic astrology is not about removing uncertainty or predicting every event. Its greatest value lies in helping us understand ourselves more clearly. By recognising life's patterns, appreciating the importance of timing and understanding the opportunities and challenges reflected within the birth chart, we become better equipped to make thoughtful decisions with confidence and perspective.
